| Having been born and raised in Mississippi on a cotton farm gave me a lot of material to write about. We moved to Houston Texas when I was age 12,the change from country life to city life was quiet traumatic. I always longed to be back on the farm. Living in western Colorado these last 25 years running a cafe have been quite a test, lots of hard work, but gratifying. The ability to sing that God gave me has always lightened the load and I sing to glorify Jesus and honor the tremendous love he has for us all . I pray God will bless our music & those that hear it. | I was born on a small farm in Oklahoma & moved to a small farm west of Cedaredge, Colorado when I was 4 years old , later moved to L.A. California , then on to Arkansas where I spent my teenage years a farm boy and working in the log woods. Moved back to Delta County, Colorado in the fall of 1973, its been home since, and will be, as long as God is willin ! Thanks , Rufus E.
